Visit the Lot and Garonne

Lot et Garonne, a welcoming and generous department of just over 300,000 inhabitants, is bordered by Périgord to the north-east, the Landes to the south-west, Gers to the south and by two large regional cities linked by the A62 passing through Agen : Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Lot and Garonne

Welcome to the orchards of the South-West! Strawberries, melons, and of course the plums used to make Agen prunes... That’s right, they’re from these parts! We’ll head deep into the Lot and Baïse valleys, and ride a barge through the swell of the Canal de Garonne. We’ll visit fortified towns and Bonaguil Chateau, which stands proudly upon its rocky outcrop. We’ll drive onwards to Agen, and then it’s up to the kids: Walibi or Aqualand?
